Wrong... they measure the distribution of carbon in the atmosphere and find that the proportion of CO2 that increased from pre-industrial era comes from burning of fossil fuels, not magically associated with some "coming out of an ice age". By the way ice ages and interglacial periods, the transitions between, are caused by changes in the earth's orbit, changes in solar flux, position & height of the continents...
