I live here in NYC, downtown, in Little Italy, to be exact. As you know, NY is one of the most democratic/liberal states in the country. People here routinely refer to Hillary Clinton as a "snake", "slime ball", etc. And this is coming from liberals, not Wall Street types. However, they are scared shit of Donald Trump. I don't see any basis for that. But perceptions must be taken seriously. I know you don't like George Bush II, but I think Trump needs to come across gentler to win more of the liberal/Bernie Sanders vote. Trump is not going to win NY because of the hardcore minority vote. But he can win swing states, such as FL, OH, NH, CO and NV with such an approach. Let's face it the hardcore Trump supporters will never vote for Hillary so it's time to court the sensitive liberal vote that mistrusts Hillary Clinton. With the right approach, this election is Trump's to win.
