PM,
Setting up a distributor company owned by insiders is common for companies that are frauds, companies tring to window dress the books, companies tring to steal money from the shareholders. The tip off is increasing sales and increasing accounts receivables, they get away with it for awhile but it catches up when they do a write down for uncollectable debt or out of date merchandise. ERGB is a company involved with the same tactic but it is catching up now with increasing A/R from products shipped but not paid. Crazy Eddie did this also but they didn't even have the inventory they claimed. They moved the inventory from place to place and invited analyst to see it.
