Too many folks selling into this fray; I put a day order in to get out at 16. If it doesn't go, I'm out at the market tomorrow. This just doesn't smell right, and I don't want to be caught in a downdraft.

Good luck to you, and I hope our paths cross again.

Happy 1998!

Well, I am surprised. I fully expected CHKE to dump at LEAST 5 points this morning; it's down 1 3/8 so far on only 8 times normal volume. It even went up to 14.50 in early trading.

I changed my mind at the last minute and cancelled my sell order, largely because it was in my IRA account and I thought I could wait out the drop. In fact, I bought a bunch more at the 11th hour. The stock is still slightly above my average entry price, so I see no incentive to sell yet (gee, I feel richer already).

What a goofy stock - I've never seen one behave like this. It's almost as if most traders are unaware of the dividend.

I'm still a holder. Let's see what this year brings.
