Sandisk is now no longer an independent company. I just started another thread that will cover the new WDC + Sandisk, as well as related technologies. It won't be nanny moderated, although it will be loosely moderated in order to keep both ad hominem comments and politics out. The board is here: Subject 59721 I am indifferent as to which board people post on. I will continue to follow this board and will comment when I have something to say. I am just giving people an alternative option if they want it. But this is really a new company--Sandisk has been very focused on NAND while WDC was focused on HDs until a few years ago when they saw the writing on the wall and knew that they had to expand into NAND and other solid state technologies in order to survive long term. It is a new board for a new company in an evolving world.
