You're off the hook with milk. Doesn't have fructose. Plenty of sugar. All lactose. <g>

I don't eat bananas. Too many carbs for me. But when I used to put a banana in a smoothie, I found that the banana, if ripe, sweetened it enough to not need added sugar. People trying to cut back on sweets or salt often find that over a few weeks of gradual lessening their perception changes until the old amount of salt or sweetener seems too salty or too sweet. You might try re-calibrating your taste buds before throwing up your hands.
