He should talk to Jim Webb, the author and main proponent of re-enacting the GI-Bill.

BTW, the GI Bill of the 40's no longer exists. The military had a terrible series of education benefits until the "New GI Bill" was passed around 2004. Jim Webb was the main driver and person who made it happen. It's close to the original GI Bill. Basically it pays a member of the military who served honorably for 4 years 100% of their public college tuition, books and provides basic E-5 BEQ pay while the member is going to college full time.

Since Trump had no dealings with the military until he started running for President, he probably doesn't have a clue, neither does 95% of the Congress or American people.

Once again, his mouth moves before his brain has received any education or knowledge. The height of arrogance combined with ignorance. A dangerous combination. He could have simply said, "I don't know, but I need to get smart about it and will do so".
