Respond to of 934811 Would this be the same crisis we were supposed to have 6-7 years ago? How did that work out?

I would say we had a crisis in 1998 that most people never knew about. We had one in 2008 from which we still have no substantial recovery, 8 years later (due in large part to stupid economic policy).

We could have another at any time, or ten years from now. One of the problems with debt is it is insidious to the 99% of stakeholders who can't understand it. When it is too much for markets to comfortably deal with we will have another crisis. Different from the last, which was caused by Democrat's idiotic lending policy and the giant Obama-backing GSEs. But a crisis nevertheless.

I know, a bit complicated for you.
