Trump Freaks Out on Call with Washington Post Reporters and Hangs Up

By: Caleb Howe ( Diary) | May 14th, 2016 at 05:04 AM |

Donald doesn’t like the fact that the media is finally turning their attention to destroying him instead of humoring him. Amazingly, I think he really did think they were being hard on him up to now. I guess when you live a privileged life, a little bit of rain might seem like a downpour. Which only means he’s totally unprepared for the monsoon headed his way. As he proved on Friday.

As you may know, it has come to light that back in the early 90s, Trump occasionally spoke on the phone to reporters while pretending to be some other dude. It’s really dumb and weird. But I guess he didn’t want to be asked about it, because this is what happened when the Washington Post, who obtained the audio recording of such a call and published it Friday morning, confronted him about it that afternoon.

Then, Friday afternoon, Washington Post reporters who were 44 minutes into a phone interview with Trump about his finances asked him a question about Miller: “Did you ever employ someone named John Miller as a spokesperson?”

The phone went silent, then dead. When the reporters called back and reached Trump’s secretary, she said, “I heard you got disconnected. He can’t take the call now. I don’t know what happened.”
