i looked it a while ago.... still time to short it before it becomes unmarginable.

The trailing PE looks low, but earnings/margins are slipping. Going to loose money next year? They are also into bagals (not as profitable as was believed). Check their SEC filings, too compicated for me, but doesn't look good.

"Some on Wall Street have long been uneasy with Boston Chicken's strategy of financing exclusive area developers for its restaurants. The company recently announced it would return to a companyowned store strategy.
Similarly, Einstein recently converted loans to area developers into equity. It is that reversion that will result in what is projected as a loss of between $12 million and $15 million in fiscal 1998."
