Gary, I am not certain the trace gas CO2 increasing is causing any warming. If it is, it is proportional to it 4 parts in 10,.000 trace amount in the atmosphere. There are numerous mechanisms where it could cause a trace cooling. In the Earth's system there is no way to measure it's effects as they are so small.

But I do believe that the increased CO2 from man or nature has greened an area of the Earth that is equal too 3 USAs. So CO2 is a natural resource like water or oxygen to all life on Earth. CO2 can only be considered pollution by a defective brain.

All places that use large amounts of green energy have increased costs over non green energy sources.
I have designed and built all manner of systems and only because of welfare subsidies can green tech ever break even in a location with access to other energy sources.

More CO2 means the more people living on lands in marginal area are less likely to suffer famine. So I have no idea why anyone would even think about reducing their carbon footprint.
