Re: goodwill

If they can't pay their bills because accounts payable overwhelm
cash and accounts receivable, then does it matter? Will they
be allowed to continue operating? This is not Coke or Intel or
even Dairy Queen - the industry is regulated and Oxford has
yet to show that it can manage its accounts. That 4-6 billion
franchise is mud if it turns out Oxford has neither the balance
sheet nor the operations to continue.

Initially, I put a lot of stock in Oxford's franchise - I'm not
ignoring it. It was in my Investor article, and it was in my
initial posts here. It's just that the degree of risk is much
higher, and I see people saying "it's just like the yo-yo tech
stocks I invest in" when it isn't.

If they can get operations back in order and stave off short
-term (which of course have long-term implications) probs
with loans then bally-hoo! There is not that much room for error.
I certainly would love for the stock to survive - remember
I've put my neck out on the line pretty publicly.

Re: the HMO's I'll get back to you - I'm still researching it.
