Repair Margin Requirement. Thanks Linda. I called Waterhouse, and was informed that the $1000 was Stock buying power, not cash. My other question remains un-answered: What are the margin requirements for Spreads? In my case, I'd sell 8 Jan27.5 calls, 4 covered by the stocks, and 4 would establish the Bull Spread against my 4 long Jan22.5 calls. That leaves no uncovered calls, but I don't know about the margin requirements at various brokerage houses. Thanks In Advance,
