I read the latest 13F for Scion. Among others, Scion owns AMGN, AAPL, NXRT, and TLRD. Disposed of a lot of bank stocks.
TLRD is indeed a cigar butt. I suspect Mike owns this through a prior ownership of MW.
Very high levels of debt (a balance sheet which, at least to me, is dismal), poor same store sales comps, not a lot to love here. Wonder why Mike likes this one.
On the discussion of brokers, I have used Fidelity now for about 10 years. No complaints here. I had an ETrade account prior to that, but left when the company was having some financial difficulties. I would say that Trade's trading platform is more robust than Fido's. I tried out Trade Station briefly. Platform has a lot of bells and whistles, I wasn't able to use all these features, and closed the account.
