Well, robots will come for your job and you'll have nothing left unless you know how to engage in continuous learning. What's certain is that the jobs where nothing ever changes...those jobs are going away. But technological advances will continue to accelerate. That doesn't mean we humans become obsolete, but it does mean Americans need to start getting more educated in things that really matter like science, technology, math.

But if the answer that Americans choose is to fight technological progress, then I think we as a country will very quickly find that to be a losing battle. China will not hesitate to crush us in that case. And other countries too are quickening their own pace of change. We're the titanic...hard to change course. But there's the iceberg dead ahead.
