Afaq,

HVSF has sued VVUS to try to prove in court and force VVUS to conceed that their product does not infringe on the VVUS patent. This is a preemptive strike as they (HVSF) knows that they could not bring the HVSF product to market without being sued by VVUS for patent infringement. VVUS has filed a counterclaim. None of this will be discussed by either company ("no comment on subjects in litigation") and each company will of course claim that it is confident of prevailing in court. Check old SI posts by Gene Voss to get some clues but he was told to be quiet also and will no longer comment on the subject. Gene is one of the origial patent holders of the MUSE system.

Btw, I am actually the author of the new VVUS billboard ,(the top of this thread), but it is still posted under Frostman's name. So don't complain to Frostman, I'll take the blame.
