David, you wrote,

From what I know about telecom, most companies lease increments of
bandwidth from local and long distance teleco's. For example a leased
T1, (1.54megabits per sec) from LA to San Francisco would be several thousand dollars per month. Wouldn't companies that buy Gigimux to
replace existing leased circuits need to use a whole fiber strand
to connect to Gigamux? If so, how would they obtain a lease on an
whole strand considering the bandwidth shortage of most teleco's.

For private companies, I would see the best use of Gigamux in their existing campus environments where they have run ot of capacity for their exising fiber, and for short haul where they do have existing
leased fiber or own it.

Looking forward Gigamux making a signifigant contribution to Osicom's
1998 revenues.

Thanks

George
