Thankyou bentway for clarifying my comment.

To me it seemed pretty straightforward, but apparently he didn't get the connection between fracking and getting rid of the waste water, which seems obvious.

I saw your post already said what I was going to say.

Some is. Some isn't. There has been induced seismicity due to wastewater injection for more than 20 years. Almost all tiny events.

But a 6.6 in Baja didn't seem too upsetting when it was in a geothermal facility. Not sure why people are excited about 2s an 3s.
