No they weren't. They tried to conceal their inventory problems for as long as possible all the while insiders were dumping millions of dollars worth of stock. Now they face multiple class action suits just like ASND.

COMS stock price is moving, currently $36(up from its recent low of approx $28 while ASND hovers near its low of $22. Any thoughts on why the treet is moving money into COMS while staying away from ASND?...>>

Answer: Their management was honest with the Street while Mory was not...


Another possibility: Some holders of COMS who purchased in 1997 may actually have a gain in COMS (albeit only a couple of months window for this; the same isn't true for ASND which is near it's 52 week low with only a few days window for anyone to have any gain on a purchase this year, thus tax loss selling may be more severe in ASND.
