One has to put his faith in numerous subjective criteria that simply cannot be shown to be accurate to believe a temperature measure system going back that far. It is pure nonsense. While there could be such a correlation, there could well be correlation with exogenous factors that aren't considered because there are other covariant data points. This is silly.

If you want to look at the last 20 years or 30 years, go for it. And start with explaining why temperature isn't 150.

This is just ignorant.
