First THX DVD players from "several" companies will be introduced at Las Vegas CES Consumer Electronics 2/29/97 Warren Publishing, Inc. (Copyright 1997 by Warren Publishing, Inc.) First THX DVD players from "several" companies will be introduced at Las Vegas CES , said licensor Lucasfilm, whose THX digital mastering program for laserdiscs also has been expanded for DVD software. Lucasfilm also said it would update OEM developments involving new THX chipsets and motherboards, which "are setting the stage for the introduction of more affordably priced THX products."
