Password protected Office Files ...

<< Will this open files that were password protected with Microsoft Office 2010? >>

I suspect they might not. It's possible however, that one might be able to submit the password originally used in Microsoft Office 2010 to open the file but I don't actually know. In collaborative work I've used secure VPNs to transmit Office files but have never password protected Office files. On my own systems I use one of two different paid and licensed programs to hide and encrypt some folders and files and unhide and decrypt them , and I use passwords on some backup files.

Ron's suggestion of using a password cracker will likely enable the capability.
