Can't think of anything good ever coming out of that wealthy southland Orange Co area, can you?
Broadcom is headquartered there. Google has a site there as well, along with a handful of other high-tech companies.

Disneyland is also there. Pretty strong tourist attraction, even with ticket prices north of $100. I was just there last month, and the place was crowded as usual.
Now send any GOP candidate you like to debate policy in diverse, wealthy, libertine Silicon Valley? Why does this never happen in an area that's helped generate bulk of new economy start ups?
Maybe because the party of wealthy elitists isn't the GOP, but rather the Democrats.

Maybe because the party that is against class stratification is actually the most responsible for creating the huge gulf between rich and poor.

Maybe because the party that says "Get the money out of politics" is fed by a huge ton of money that they will never part with.
