Venkie,
Yes I Do have fun with the argument.
But most importantly, I do get information from the other side.
Their comments also force me to think re think and consider things that I earlier had not thought before.

New thoughts from the discussion.

Dell claims 6-7% of revs from the region.
Is that from the region or from companies headquartered in the region.
If the US hyundi factory buys a DELL is that and AP sale or a US sale?

I have a clearer understanding of my latest comments compairing DELL and MU. Main differance is that there is not inventory for buyers to see. But they can see CPQ's and IBM's.

I have confirmed that some of the DELL bulls are in love with the Business Model and the technology, and they moy not understand that there is more than one way for it to break down.

I have confirmed that every one has forgotten the negativity surrounding the stock 4 years ago.

Last I think that very few can see the impact of the scope of the AP problem. Bankrupcy, Inflation further weekening the currency, negative real growth in the AP. The very real possibality that Korea takes Japan down even further. It problem is about 2 1/2 - 3 months old and we are still finding out how bad it is. and some think it will be fixed in 6 months. In 6 months we will be lucky if we know all of the problems.

Jim

BTW NVLS,

IMO, this company derives >40% of revs from AP companies.
That will drop to atleast 20% just on currency. Japan expects Semi Cap EX to be down 30% next year. Not this year but next year.
I would say that that in and of itself would put a big nail in NVLS's coffin.

BTW this will impact DELL also. Fewer new chip factories may in time slow component price drops.

No wait retract that last statement, Nothing can hurt DELL.

Jim
