Dulane...I find your reference to CPQ as a "wallflower" as very kind! With the dow up 75, Nas up 20, Dell up 3, MSFT up 10 since last Friday, and CPQ up 1/2, well, I have other words for Compaq that probably shouldn't be posted publically. S.

Dulane U. Ponder. Re: "I guess big buyers are holding out for the earnings announcements." I think your right. There has been so much misinformation out there on each of these companies. Intel's margins are tanking due to the sub 1k computers and CPQ is stuffing the channel among other things that there are alot of people on the sidelines.

IMHO CPQ's 4Q will be good. Intel situation is less clear and conservatism may be warranted until earnings and guidance are in.

Bought some more CPQ today. Everything else I own went up. That's the breaks :(
