In short, we have the worst of all worlds. We are our own worst enemy, economically, fiscally, and monetarily. This is not capitalism. It is crony-fraud warfare against the 99%

Well said. Agreed on all points but we have more and more people on the dole who don't identify with the working class anymore. Black lives matter for example all about more handouts and reparations in the end for those who aren't able to or even motivated anymore to compete in the global economy and have basically given up. Don't know what the percentage is that is in the workforce but not on the dole or collecting handouts but looking at labor force participation rates and the fact one in six males 18 to 34 is either in prison or sitting around not going to school or to a job is frightening for our future given the added challenges of technology and globalization. Looking more and more like Puerto Rico or Greece or Venezuela for the majority of Americans here in the USA once we lose out reserve currency status and can no longer play the financial engineering shell game any more. One other frightening stat PR is bankrupt even with gross national debt's and obligations per person a fraction of what it is in the US mainland..
