Pup, sigh..........you know I am no where near you intellectually. Zero? Really? I would probably get 3 pages into that book and be unconscious. It's been so long since being on hold meant no noise at all that I'm not sure I could handle it. I might end up screaming "Give me elevator music, anything but silence". I'll try it next time just to see if I can take it. I'm guessing that as seemingly small a courtesy as a choice of music may appear there will be copycats. I pray that is true! Apple not innovative? What do you call that? Actually I call it listening to people like me who have complained loudly about the really terrible music we get on hold/wait. Can you just put yourself in this place? You are put on hold, given a choice of music or no sound whatsoever. You choose nothing. You put it on speaker phone so that you can go about your business while you wait and there is no noise......silence....ahh..............
