Aristotle POV on what we call Metaphysics today is that this is the real world. His view of what we call Epistemology is that the way to examine the world is with the use of reason. Looking back over the last two thousand plus years, When his POV was in the ascendant, we had progress. When it wasn't, we didn't. When I look at today's Universities, I see the Liberal Arts Division as Plato's domain. The "Science" part of the University is the domain of Aristotle.
