Japan is hurting big time.

The earthquakes in Kumamoto have forced the Japanese govt to send nurses working in other prefectures to go and spend up to a month helping the kids that have suffered thru those ordeals. Not an easy job, they're having lots of psychological problems from losing their homes, families, schools...

The earthquakes have also affected all the car makers, they can't get everything working on their production lines all over Japan. Their supply routes have been temporarily affected and those problems persist.

Lots of part-time jobs with lower salaries, no pension fund, and an ever ageing population. I love the NIRP, that ABE deserves to eat tainted fish....

China's pollution problems are affecting Japan with additional respiratory problems and rivers dumping lots of pollutants to the north of Japan.

There's still the nuclear power plant emitting radioactivity.

I'm wondering what kind of food from Japan is "safe" nowadays.

"Contaminated fish or rice"---huh that is the question..
