Doug,

An honest, unopinionated, benighted question: Why buy at the close, with a risk of getting gapped down? As it is, I lost an eighth; the only other thing I can imagine having risked losing was an opening gap-up or enormous surge, in which case I walk away and wait for the next cat. The next few months, if I'm correct, it's going to be raining cats so much you'd think it's a Magritte painting.
Please advise.
