Nasty close for the boxmakers. I was told Reuters cmae out with some news 20mins before the market closed. That was what sparked the selloff in DELL and CPQ. The news had something to do with their recent sales being slow. Does anyone have their hands on the article?

What is your best guess about the market in general? Does this thing have legs or are we all being sucked in with the good old January effect?

It makes sense to me that pension money, 401k money, and huge wall street bonus money should help the mkt. in the beginning of Jan. don't you think so?

If so for how long and how far? How would you recommend trading this rally? I'm leary of the techs here aren't you?
