Van: <<As long as there's no news on K-266 shipment,>>, AMD needs as much good news as it can accumulate to offset the Q4 earning result. My gut feeling tells that it's highly possible for AMD to couple the k6-266 shipment news with Q4 report on 1/13 (after market close, from briefing.com). Cybermax (advertised 266 desktop system on its web) sales person said the system would be available to ship in late January and that implies that AMD should have the chip ready around middle of Jan to give boxmakers enough leadtime.

AMD and INTC will announce Q4 on the same day.
