I have a few % more panels up here than someone would have down in LA.

54 kWhrs of storage is more than enough to carry me through some cloudy winter days which is what the system is sized for. Twenty years of daily power production data has actually allowed me to reduce the system size slightly.

Yesterday the PV's produced power from 5:20 AM local till almost 8:45 PM in the evening.

Lots of excess power production this time of the year.

The excess can be fed to my neighbors for their power needs if I want to.

You don't seem to understand how these systems actually work.
