Yes John... that was an excellent piece by Zulauf

Bill Gross has also come out with some similar attitudes

I feel his instincts to be wary of these divergent cross-currents and preserve capital is valuable and straight forward protectionist... but it is very hard to do for the average investor... so easily we get swept into the emotional pressures of these cross-currents and we can't take full advantage of either direction.

The european union might have been a good idea -- but given the nature of politicians -- their governments -- their central banks -- and their largest bankers... they've basically made a mess of it.

Our own government folded into the pressure from its large bankers to access public monies to compete with intentionally banks... so what did they give us just a few years later... a computer driven investment strategy that never programmed in the proper risk algorithms.

The socialist tendencies of these governments are also being stretched hard by the debt loads and immigrants and internal fighting as in France and peaceful counties like Sweden and as seen here by Trump, Hillary-dillary and Bernie. Even the Dali Lama -- in exile himself -- is questioning that “too many” refugees are seeking asylum in Europe.

"They should only be only allowed to stay temporarily.... When we look into the face of every single refugee, especially the children and women, we can feel their suffering," he said. "The goal should be that they return and help rebuild their countries."
