The problem is AGW.

It doesn't matter what the problem is. If AGW is ten times the problem you think it is (rather then the more likely 1/10th), your still not going to replace fossil fuels within 10 years. If its really a disastrous immediate problem, then we will have the disaster because big enough change is not going to happen that quickly.
