CJ, So change the references to "the middle class" and substitute "anyone who isn't a member of the top 10%, 1% or smaller demographic". It doesn't change my post at all. You said it. The "middle class," as defined by the Democrats, is anyone who isn't a member of the top 10%, 1%, or smaller demographic. So when the Democrats say they're the party of the 90%, or the 99%, or the 99.9%, does that include the middle-class conservatives in flyover country? Does that include those who cling onto their "guns and religion"? Does that include every white trash hick that you liberals love to denigrate? Does that include the soldiers and veterans who fought bravely for our country only to get screwed over by the VA? Most of those people are conservative, and hardly any of them are rich millionaires. How about blue-collar working class types? Are they only included if they're a racial minority? If the answer to ANY of these questions is yes, then tell me how these people fit into the Democrats supposed focus on the "middle class." The truth is that "middle class" is a euphemism for blaming the rich. And you're right, it's all just a bunch of lip service. That's why half of the rich people that the Democrats run against actually support the Democrats, because that's all they want to do. Pay lip service to helping the poor. Tenchusatsu
