thanks for the reason. i had a friend get the cheaper fix but then its not the first time dropping the phone and breaking the glass. or dropping into the wash machine , etc......... i have dried out an iPhone a few times and it started to work again the next day. just amazing. i knew one person where it got damp a few years back and the verdict was rust. iPhone no good .

myself dropped a couple of times without breaking the glass and no protection. once i had a paperback slide off the arm chair into the ocean in Croatia. fortunately , i had the iPhone in my pocket.

I have had my IP6 for 2+year with no case and never had a broken screen. My wife with a IP6+ has broken hers twice with a case. not the phone, it is my wife. Half the time I have to call her phone to find it.

icracked uses certified parts. But you do have to be careful.
