You've got to be doing something that flags you for an audit.

Shep's an idiot. He's not being audited they are just sending letters correcting his idiotic errors. Before using TurboTax I screwed up years ago on my state return by subtracting two small numbers instead of adding them or vice versa. I received a letter from the state saying I owed a penalty on my entire tax instead of the $10 or so I screwed up on. Believe it or not the worthless human at the Franchise Tax Board I spoke with figured out I was right in less than five minutes.

I'm innocent man, honest injun......I explained to nodey some of the stuff that gets me a letter.....never had one suggesting fraud or anything like that, I'm not that stupid. But I do object to paying penalties for estimated taxes and I challenge them on that...
