50 pages of regulation to sell an apple is bureaucratic extremism. This is exactly what's going to put us in the poorhouse. Whenever they talk about "free" trade agreements and zones, what they really mean is -- anti-free trade. Those arrangements are made not to promote free trade, but in order to exclude some - or even most - of any potential participants. It won't work. The survival of the EU is already in question. Political and bureaucratic "solutions" are not solutions - they're the problem.
