On Bloomberg radio this AM, the host was asking a California Republican Congressman about climate change and the California drought extremes... The loyal Republican immediately dodged the CC question and ranted about the lack of constructing new dams in California. In his world, that is the problem... along with environmental rules that also get in the way.

This is the essence of the Republican cluster f#ck...

The problem in Florida is not enough private boats and too much open space without gutters and drains, right??

Stay safe.

Florida's Governor Declares State of Emergency As Tropical Storm Colin Approaches

Eric Chaney
Published: June 6, 2016

Gov. Rick Scott declared a state of emergency for more than half the counties in Florida Monday as Tropical Storm Colin headed toward the Big Bend area of the state. One of those countieshas already issued a notice for voluntary evacuations.

The storm strengthened in the Gulf of Mexico and is threatening parts of Florida and the Southeast with heavy rain Monday and Tuesday.

Franklin County, which historically floods, has issued a voluntary evacuation notice for anyone in low-lying areas or anyone in RVs in the county.
