E, Got confirmation before close on buying MSFT Jan 125puts (MSQME) for 1 7/8. Here I go again.... Luke, trust your instincts. Here's my reasons (besides the fast runup on 'lower vol') - 131 is about 60% retracement from the high (about 140 on Dec 17) to last Wed low of 118; 130ish is also where vol accelerated to the downside 6 trading days ago, today closed a gap at about 130 7/8; I don't think it will go straight up thru 130; the daily overhead line is quickly approaching; and before MSFT can go back up and stay up, the big gap between 120 7/8 and 122 1/16 (eyeballs) needs to be filled. The US govt isn't going to go away either.

Again, congrats on your trade. I knew I should've (there's that word again) got in on MSFT Fri. Dreaming of the triple that should've been.
Have a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year!

kw.

PS: Does anyone know what happened to CPQ before the end of the day?
