Pull up the intraday chart, maybe an hour or 1/2 hour chart that gives you the period of time you're anticipating making your move and completing it. Look carefull at the two things... A. Your premium will soon drop to zero, unless its in the money. The stock or index has to move very quickly and a good distance in your direction. B. Has the volatility in the stock or index recently and consistently provided the move you need within the time frame you need to have it make money? Make sense?
