THIS STOCK IS A BARGAIN!!! I consider MPRS at these prices quite a amazing deal and just picked up 14,000 shares the other day at 2 5/16. Looks like lots of good games will be coming out first quarter. Hopefully Mech Commander will be finished in time - the developer notes said it was going to be very close. Even if MPRS only makes it back to $4 sometime in the next year, thats still a 73% profit. Even if it only makes it to $3 thats a 29% profit which will beat most mutual funds next year. If they really get in trouble, someone will buy them, I don't see alot of risk here. I think Wall Street is underestimating how big the new multiplayer version of Magic will be - I'll bet it sells > 1 million copies. Being able to play Magic against a real person, any time of day, without having to spend a fortune buying the cards - its going to be huge. I'll bet alot of kids are tired of spending 50 bucks a month on Magic cards, and will snap up the game instead. Just got the latest issue of Computer Gaming Strategy - Microprose had about 7 two page adds in the issue. That is by far the most adds I have ever seen them put out. They probably decided to buy so many adds because they thought they were merging with GTIS. JV.
