what is more amazing is that for many people who do not want an email account, they can contact and message each other without the overhead of having to maintain and distribute an email address. For many people, they can take on a very strong message presence without the same email. things that go away with emojis and likes and such are email flare is lessened. People can put expression into their messages. People can find people they know. circles of friends can be built. You can hold a multiple person conversation, with additional people joining in when they want. You also have hsitories and timelines to refer to. Lots to like about FB. Lots to dislike......like how people use it against you, when you show your personality. How job recruiters look at it and make some determination about you as a worker. How people are mining FB accounts for things like credit ratings, mortgage loans, etc. However I see this type of communications to be the future, but perhaps with more control over how it may be used. Anti redlining due to FB should be passed in congress...
