My account contains several different stocks.The only way I can figure it out is to proportion margin interest to each stock then divide. It gets complicated when you have staggered buy sell dates too.:) Alvin, If it really matters, you may create a spreadsheet to keep you up to date. I would not bother. Glenn

Alvin,

FYI, margin interest can't be added to the basic cost of
buying/selling a stock.

It can only be used to offset other interests you make, I believe.
Like capital loss, margin interest can be carried from one year to
the next.
