You're right. As Republicans pointed out at the time, there was no reason to help England.

We shouldn't have become involved in the European war until the day Hitler attacked America.

If we had wanted to be a little aggressive would could have become involved fighting Hitler after he attacked Canada.

I'm sure many conservative would have preferred simply installing a sympathetic Nazi Regime in America and we could have enjoyed being part of the thousand year reich.

Where did that come from?

I am fairly aware that Japan attacked us. But it also gave Roosevelt the chance to enter the war. It was something he had wanted to do but the isolationists in the Congress would not declare war against Hitler. It was very frustrating for Roosevelt.

<<<Koan. Hitler did not attack us. Japan did!!!

Koan never lets facts get in the way.

What's new?

He is so emotional, 90% of what he thinks he knows is bullshit.
