Thanks for the quotes. If I had 500,000 shares of CPQ with a nice fat profit built in, I certainly would be tempted to sell 250,000 shares and lock in the profit and eliminate some risk, knowing that I could start over in 3 weeks with the same # of shares. Like the guy on the previous note said....keep a core holding, but keep taking $$$ off the table. What better time than now...year end and split in 3 weeks. Getting some of this selling out of the way now could take some of the pressure off later. That is, assuming that nothing fundamentally has gone awry. I don't know anymore than anyone else here and want to hear every angle on what could be happening. S.
