"Bernie crushed Trump head to head in every poll."

Number of dollars spent on negative advertising to date...zero
Number of dollars waiting to be spent....

How will they be spent?

Bernie "might" have beaten Trump, but, like I said, SOCIALISM doesn't play well in the U.S.

The things he was talking about would NEVER have gotten through Congress.

Bernie essentially wanted to take money from the rich and give it to the young. Free college and other free stuff.

That's very popular with the young. I was bit more pragmatic when I was young so I don't think I would have bought into it but I can see others liking it. In 1952 young people were BIG fans of Adlai Stevenson. He got the nomination but didn't fare well against Eisenhower.

People supported Chavez in Venezuela, for the the same reasons that they support Bernie Sanders.

They're finding out now that they're votes for Chavez didn't turn out well in the long run.
