I've already posted about how he handled the January veteran's special in Iowa. For four months he claimed he'd donated a million dollars himself. When the press kept following up to check, he finally cut the check (to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation) on May 24. If not for the press, he never would have donated a dime. He didn't need over four months to vet that foundation. Trump doesn't pay his bills in business either unless he's made to and there are hundreds of vendors to testify to that.
