$10 trillion of puff-ball debt instrument promissory notes based on nothing but hot air suspended above the world like Wile E Coyote over the edge of a cliff. Don't look down and everything will be all right.

Maybe it's $100 trillion. But either way, negative interest rates mean zirp is old-hat high pay, and whether $10 trillion or $100 trillion, it's not going to end well.

Once upon a time I was optimistic, for many decades, more or less. Now I'm waiting for the day.
